What We Do

The Chapters all do a variety of tasks as well as take pleasure rides and camp trips. Some of the tasks our chapters have done over the years are to clear trails, tidy trailheads, assist with scientific studies, spray weeds, and pack in and out a wide variety of equipment and materials, replace/repair bridges, all using the original horse power, which treads lightly on the land. We have put on clinics for the public covering many topics, run fund raisers for the local hospitals, and work with local governments for equine needs. The list is endless and we only ask that you help on at least one project a year, depending on your schedule and level of expertise.
